The amorphous alloy core is composed of elements such as iron, nickel, cobalt, silicon, boron, and carbon. As an isotropic soft magnetic material, it offers low magnetizing power and no structural defects hindering domain wall movement. With an ultra-thin thickness of just 0.027 mm, its stacking factor is correspondingly low at 0.75–0.8. The material also provides extremely high electrical resistivity (3 to 6 times that of silicon steel sheets) and five times the hardness of silicon steel sheets, though it is particularly sensitive to mechanical stress.

The prototype of our SZ9-20000/35 transformer successfully passed the sudden short-circuit test conducted by the National Transformer Testing Center on the first attempt. The longitudinal oil channels provided in the high- and low-voltage coils facilitate heat dissipation, significantly reducing the copper-oil temperature difference and the hot-spot temperature rise inside the coils.
