S13 Three-Dimensional Wound Core

The S13 three-dimensional wound core transformeris an oil-immersed transformer adopting a three-phase three-dimensional wound core structure. As atype of energy-saving power transmission andtransformation equipment, it is mainly used in thetechnical renovation projects of urban and ruralpower grids. Its core is fabricated by continuously winding high-quality cold-rolled silicon steel strips andundergoing vacuum annealing. The surface is coatedwith epoxy resin paint for moisture protection andcuring. This transformer boasts such technicaladvantages as low no-load loss, low no-load currentand low operating noise.

Low Losses

In accordance with the current national standard GB/T 6451-2015 Technical Parameters and Requirements for Three-phase Oil-immersed Power Transformers, forthe capacity range of 30-1600 kVA, the no-load loss of the S13-M.RL series is reducedby an average of 50% and the load loss by an average of 30%; the no-load loss of theS11-M.RL series is reduced by an average of 30% and the load loss by an average of 25%.



Low No-load Current

Benefiting from the premium material of the wound core and the advantages of itswinding process, the no-load current is significantly reduced. In line with the nationalstandard GB/T 6451-1999, the no-load current of both the S13-M.RL series and S11-M.RLseries is reduced by an average of 75%.


Low Operating Noise

Complying with the noise standard JB/T 10088-1999, the noise level of both the S13-M.RL and S11-M.RL series is lowered by approximately 7-9 dB.


Strong Short-circuit Withstand Capability

The transformer core assembly is integrally structured as a three-dimensional triangular prism. Stay bolts are installed around the assembly and in the central area,forming an integral structure with the upper & lower yoke insulations and laminatedwooden blocks. This design can effectively resist the axial and radial mechanical stresses generated during sudden short-circuit faults.
